About

Overtake sells advertising. The board is the ad: pay more, sit higher, get looked at. What you pay buys the placement — nothing else, and nobody else takes a share of it.

The ad is a fight

The two companies paying most for the top of the board fight as logo puppets on the homepage. That fight is the advertising: people watch it, and they share it every time the top changes hands. Rank is the bid, and only the bid.

While a company is on the ring, anyone can support it. That money goes straight to the company, on its own payment page: Overtake never receives it, never holds it, never learns the amount. In return the company gives what it promised on the ring — its promise, not ours.

The rest of the engine

Checkout is real: bids go through Stripe, and nothing touches the board until the payment lands. Support is not our checkout at all — it happens on the company's own page.
